An interesting podcast of an interview yesterday on Canada's State media network with the famous "Golden Age" comics artist Stan Lee.An early, helpful and obvious (once you have heard it) point is that the evolution of graphic novel (as a concept) is driven by a decrease in the young readers of comics and a concomitant increase in the teen and adult readership.
This raises the question (raised and discussed in more than one quarter) of a cult of perpetuating adolescence into adulthood.
